Host and head chef
Manuela has been the dedicated chef of Locanda Mistral for more than 20 years. Eating well and healthily is of utmost importance to her. That's why she strives to bring the traditions and history of this unique valley to life through her dishes. As head chef, Manuela cooks with great attention to detail, genuinely and honestly, using seasonal and regional produce.
Renato Botte
Host and mountain guide
Renato Botte hails from South Tyrol and has been working as a mountain guide in various parts of the world for more than 20 years. In addition to his mountain guide work, he is also passionate about working with young people on a wide variety of projects. Valle Maira has been his second home for years, where he runs Locanda and Camping Mistral together with his partner Manuela.
